No matter how large your Android’s screen is, it can’t possibly be as large as your PC’s monitor. And no matter how easy to use your Android’s keyboard is, it can’t possibly be as easy to use as your PC’s keyboard. I bring this up to make a point: it’s more convenient to manage your Android from your PC – and that is precisely what you can do with Droid Manager.

The requirements for running Droid Manager are: Microsoft Windows XP or newer; Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0; rooted Android device; enabled USB Debugging mode; Adb drivers installed on the computer; Busybox installed on the smartphone.
The steps you must go through to install Droid Manager on a Windows-powered PC are presented in the Quick Look video that accompanies this article.

Everything on Droid Manager’s interface is nicely laid out so you can easily access it. Or to put it in other words, Droid Manager’s interface is quite easy to use. You won’t have to go through a steep learning curve to get accustomed to the interface. And since the interface is so easy to use, you won’t have any problems accessing Droid Manager’s functionality.

Speaking about functionality, here’s what you can expect to get from Droid Manager: connect via USB or WiFi; transfer files to/from your Android/PC; install apps on your Android device, back up and restore apps; change boot animation; sync media; browse the files stored on your Android; built-in search tool; read and reply to text messages, send new text messages; integrated build.prop editor.

Droid Manager is available as a free Lite version and as a paid Pro version. As expected, the Pro version has more functionality to offer.

From the comfort of your PC, you can efficiently and conveniently manage your Android. This sort of wonderful functionality is offered by Droid Manager.

Pros

Modern and even older PC’s will meet Android Manager’s requirements (please make sure your Android smartphone also meets the application’s requirements. Droid Manager’s interface is quite easy to use. There’s a lot you can do with Droid Manager: transfer files, reply to texts messages, install apps, and more. Droid Manager is available as a Lite and as a Pro edition.

Cons

None that I could think of.
